Be On The Lookout (BOLO) Alert: Chamblee Police, 5/27/2011

Last week I sent out a notice about two burglaries on Admiral Drive.  Since then there has been another burglary on Ellwyn Drive.  I wanted to pass along a possible description of the vehicle we suspect is involved.  The vehicle may be a tan or gold late 90s model Lexus ES300 with a paper dealer tag and body damage, possibly with primer paint in one area.   The car leaks oil and has left an oil spot at the scene of each burglary.  It may have a white male driver and black male passengers, all in their early 20s.  Please call Chamblee 911 if you see a vehicle by this description, especially lurking in the residential areas west of Peachtree Blvd during the morning hours of 8-12.

   

There was also a residential burglary on the east side of town, on Janice Circle.  Since then, several juveniles were recently arrested by Dekalb PD for a burglary off of Hilltop Drive, and these may be the same ones from Janice Circle.

Dunwoody Police Seek Help Capturing Suspects - Entering Auto

The Dunwoody Police Department is seeking assistance identifying two suspects captured on video using stolen credit cards at the Wal-Mart in Ellenwood. The suspects took the credit cards from several residents in Dunwoody since May 1st. There have been 19 entering autos reported, and the thefts occurred between 0000-0700 hours. The majority of the entering autos occurred in the northern end of the city. The suspects are described as two white males in their late teens to early twenties. One of the suspects has a buzz cut, and the other has bushy hair. They both wear baggy clothing, and were last seen driving a newer model silver Ford Edge. The vehicle was seen at the Wal-Mart on Anvil Block Road in Ellenwood. The suspects purchased two X-Box 360's and some clothing. There is video available of this incident.
